The Korean businesses have now had a tendency to shift their manufacturing plants from China and some other countries to Vietnam, because Vietnam has got favorable environment and conditions for electronic development stressed Mr. Jang Seok Jun, head of the Korean businesses in the radio and television sector (the Korean Association of Electronics). And the fact shows that in recent time, some of Korean car and electronic manufacturers and builders have started their investment in Vietnam.


The electronic industry of Vietnam has got big opportunities of development if it could be able to seize them and make full use of the investment wave from Japan and Korea, particularly the opportunities of cooperation in processing production and business in products. Especially Korea has developed its electronic industry so well with projects in technical, technological and sample development.

However, as judged by certain experts, in 2012, businesses in the electronic field will not avoid the difficulties similar to those the businesses of other industries are facing because of the bad affect of the economy at home and abroad. Businesses have to strive to look for opportunities through the seminars and workshops where they could be able to meet foreign associations and organizations in their promotion work.

Besides, businesses should quickly start the transfer of their production structure from their assembling and doing business of civil products and home appliances to focusing on manufacturing equipment for industries and health service, at the same time, the electronic industry of Vietnam should also strive to get involved in the global supply chain in a bid to have sustainable development and raise the competitive capacity./.
