In accordance with the plan, in the 2011-2020 period, agriculture will strive to reach a value of USD 22 billion; forestry, USD 7 billion and fisheries, USD 11 billion. As for the 2030 vision, export turnover of agro-forestry-fisheries products will increase by USD 60 billion, in which, agriculture will obtain USD 30 billion; forestry, USD 10 billion and fisheries, USD 20 billion.

To this end, the Prime Minister of the Government has directed all the sectors concerned to start land reclamation to have about 1.1 million hectares more for agricultural and forestry production and aquaculture, in which land area for rice planting will be 37,000 hectares; for annual trees, 60,000 hectares; perennial trees, 100,000 hectares and for afforestation, 930,000 hectares.
The land fund for rice will be 3,812,000 million hectares until 2020. It is expected to have rice output of 41 million and 43 million tones by 2020 and 44 million tones by 2030 to guarantee food security and export. As for forestry, forest land will be 16,200,000 hectares by 2020, an increase of 879,000 hectares over 2010. As planned, by 2020, the total quantity of sawn timber will be 6 million cubic meters per year; wood chips, 320,000 cubic meters of products per year. As for fisheries, the land area under aquaculture by 2020 will be 1,200,000 hectares. As for aqua products processing, export goods will reach 1,550,000 tones by 2015 and will rise to 1,900,000 tones by 2020./.
