The Vietnam-based EuroCham on April 5, 2012 released an announcement reaffirming that EU and Vietnam have started official negotiations on a free trade agreement (FTA) after having completed the preparatory work with a common understanding on key topics already dealt with in the agreement on Saturday during the 2nd ASEAN-EU Business Summit in Phnom Penh.
