1,111 'tea ladies' performing together nominated to set Vietnam Record

The image of 1,111 'tea ladies' simultaneously raising their tea cups created an impressive moment, becoming a highlight in the Vietnam Record nomination dossier for the ensemble performance of offering tea in the Vietnamese tea ceremony style.

Each activity of the tea farm attracts viewers to pay attention and learn more about Vietnamese tea.

On December 2, a representative of the Doi Dep Brand said that the unit had completed the procedures to submit to the Vietnam Record Organization within the framework of the WORLD TEA FEST 2025 event with the category 'Mass performance of offering tea in the style of Vietnamese tea ceremony'. This is an unprecedented large-scale performance, marking the first time Vietnam has recorded a record-breaking tea art activity.

The performance was elaborately staged on a tea hill in Lam Dong province, recreating the traditional Vietnamese tea offering ceremony with a performing language that blends ritual movements, ceremonial music and a uniform layout. The image of thousands of 'tea ladies' in red shirts with yellow stars gently performing each tea ceremony created an impressive visual picture, honoring the elegance and sophistication of Vietnamese tea culture.

According to the Organizing Committee, the nomination documents are not only built on the quantitative factor but also reflect the effort to introduce and spread the spirit of Vietnamese tea to the community. The goal of the program is to contribute to making tea culture a typical product in festivals and cultural and tourism events, while encouraging activities to preserve traditional values ​​associated with modern life.

This is the first time Vietnam has recorded a record-breaking art performance about Vietnamese tea.

The ceremony to announce and award the Vietnamese Record for the tea offering performance is expected to take place at the Opening Ceremony of the International Tea Festival (WORLD TEA FEST 2025) on December 5, 2025, at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat Ward). This is expected to be the highlight of the series of activities honoring tea culture at the event, attracting tourists and tea-loving communities both domestically and internationally.
