Cybersecurity experts warn of an unprecedented data breach. The database contains 1.3 billion passwords and nearly 2 billion email addresses from various breaches.
Troy Hunt, founder of Have I Been Pwned - a popular website that helps users check for data breaches, confirmed that this is the largest data dump ever processed. As many as 625 million passwords have never appeared in previous leaks.
Users can check by visiting haveibeenpwned.com and entering their commonly used password. If the result is red, the password has been exposed and needs to be changed immediately to avoid the risk of being hacked. Experts recommend not reusing passwords, enabling 2FA, and using a password manager.
The incident shows that the cyber security situation is increasingly complex with the risk of constant data leaks. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Many scams using AI technology are on the rise | News 141
