This is the first time the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list has expanded to Southeast Asia.
More than 1.3 million workers participated in the survey to assess their workplace culture, with over 550,000 responses validated. Vietnam ranked 10th on the list, more than any other country, demonstrating the strong transformation of Vietnamese businesses in building workplace culture to attract and retain talent.
According to the organizers, these businesses impressed with their pioneering employee support policies such as expanding mental health care programs, generous family leave policies, and initiatives to build resilience and adapt to economic fluctuations.
Vietnam is also the only country with two businesses in the top 10, including Vinmec Healthcare System (ranked 7th) and Highlands Coffee (ranked 9th).
This result proves that Vietnamese businesses are completely capable of building a working environment rich in trust and support, comparable to multinational corporations in terms of employee experience.
10 Vietnamese enterprises are on the list.
To be ranked, businesses must first achieve Great Place To Work certification, have a minimum of 200 employees across Southeast Asia at the time of certification.
The Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For Southeast Asia list is based on Great Place To Work's proprietary Trust Index survey, which measures employee experience based on anonymous, confidential responses and cross-references with participating companies' HR data.
Only those businesses that consistently achieve the highest ratings from employees, regardless of position or seniority, are eligible to be included. As such, the list is a comprehensive measure of employee experience.
