On December 6, Thong Nhat Hospital coordinated with the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City to organize the program "Screening for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes in the elderly and preventive treatment of oral diseases for students" in Thoi Binh commune ( Ca Mau province).

Through screening activities, the medical staff recorded many cases of high blood pressure and diabetes, including cases detected for the first time. In the group of students, doctors recorded many cases of tooth decay. Doctors performed tooth fillings and implemented preventive measures to reduce the risk of tooth decay, while raising awareness of early oral care.
