12 teams compete in the 7-a-side Women's Football Tournament

The 2025 National Women's 7-a-side Football Championship - Carefor Cup will officially kick off from November 15 to November 22 at C500 Stadium (People's Security Academy, Hanoi ). This year's tournament brings together 12 teams from many provinces, cities, businesses and universities across the country, promising to bring exciting competitions.

In the Queen Cup category, 6 teams representing localities and businesses include Son Toa Khang Cat, Tri Dung, Phu Dong Ben Tre , SHB, Thanh Nam Star and Son La. Meanwhile, the Princess Cup brings together 6 student teams including Bac Ninh University of Sports (UPES1), National Economics University (NEU), Dai Nam University (DNU), Hanoi University of Industry, East Asia University of Technology and FPT Polytechnic College.

After the first season held in 2024, the National 7-a-side Women's Football Championship - Carefor Cup 2025 marks an important development step in the journey to form a 7-a-side football system for women - a new direction that VietFootball is determined to implement to promote the Vietnamese women's sports movement.

2025 is also a special milestone when VietFootball completes 12 years of developing the 7-a-side football model in Vietnam. From the pioneering tournament HPL (Hanoi Premier League) to the national competition system such as VPL (National 7-a-side Championship) and VSC (National 7-a-side Football Cup), VietFootball has contributed to spreading the culture of grassroots football, creating a vibrant and sustainable sports community.

Not only expanding in scale, 7-a-side football has also become a "flagship" in connecting the community, turning the football playground into an expected festival. From that foundation, developing the 7-a-side women's football system is considered a strategic step, both creating competition opportunities and inspiring female players, who still face many barriers in their journey to pursue their passion.
