120 fireworks displays are ready for New Year's Eve at Le Hong Phong Bridge.

At noon on February 16th (29th day of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Horse 2026), the Military Command of Phan Thiet ward (Lam Dong province) was actively preparing for the low-altitude fireworks display to welcome the New Year at Le Hong Phong bridge, Phan Thiet ward.

Major Nguyen Duc Thien, chief technician at the firing team in Phan Thiet ward, said: The Phan Thiet Ward Military Command has received 120 fireworks displays at the firing site and is currently deploying and installing them.

Currently, forces have taken up positions to protect and ensure the safety of the technical team preparing the firing site. “By 3 PM today, all installation, technical inspection, and connection of the detonation system will be completed. More than 20 officers and soldiers have been mobilized to ensure compliance with regulations and absolute safety,” Major Thien added. In addition, forces are currently assigned to man checkpoints, manage traffic flow, control the technical area, and ensure the safety of people coming to watch the fireworks.
