Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh Tam - Vice Principal of An Son Secondary School - informed that today the school has 27 candidates participating in the 2024 high school graduation exam. They have prepared their knowledge very carefully and are ready for the exam.
"Yesterday, the school finished the review plan for the students. For students with difficult circumstances, the school consulted with local authorities and benefactors to support and help with funding so that they can do well in the exam," said Ms. Tam.
Major Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Department of Kien Giang Provincial Police - said that the unit has a plan to "Support the exam season" in 2024.
"This time we awarded scholarships to 12 students with difficult circumstances in Hon Tre commune. Each scholarship is about 800,000 VND/student (including money and necessary items for the exam).
The amount of money is not much, but we hope that it will support the spirit and give the students more strength to have the best possible conditions to take the exam," Major Quoc emphasized.
The Departmentof Education and Training of Kien Giang province said that due to the insufficient number of candidates in Kien Hai island district, the unit organized the 2024 inter-school high school graduation exam.
The Department also noted that localities and related units should organize transportation, create conditions, ensure security, support travel, and meals (ensuring food safety and hygiene) for candidates to take the exam better and achieve high results.
