Currently, there are 893 cooperatives in Quang Tri province. To adapt to the new situation, many units have proactively embraced the digital transformation wave. To date, 15% of agricultural cooperatives throughout the province have applied high technology to their operations. Notably, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) helps cooperatives not only focus on production but also proactively analyze the market and accurately forecast customer demand.
Many companies have proactively applied AI to design eye-catching packaging and labels, while also using chatbots and image recognition technology to professionalize customer service. These efforts not only help reduce labor costs but also increase accuracy in management and operations.
Besides cooperatives applying production technology, 14% of agricultural cooperatives have adopted traceability software and electronic production logs, helping to transparently provide product information from farm to consumer; 18% of units proactively bring agricultural products to e-commerce platforms and social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, websites, etc., creating a breakthrough in product outlets.
Proactive adoption of technology, from management to operation, is helping cooperatives in Quang Tri adapt flexibly to the digital economy trend. This is an important foundation for building a modern, transparent, and sustainable agricultural sector in the coming period.
