180 booths participated in the Ca Mau OCOP Product Trade Fair and Exhibition.

On the evening of February 7th, the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with Chuong Vang Trade Promotion Co., Ltd. and the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Ward, solemnly organized the opening ceremony of the Ca Mau OCOP Product Trade Fair and Exhibition, on 30/4 Street, Bac Lieu Ward.

The fair features 180 booths, showcasing a diverse range of products including: OCOP products, specialty products from Ca Mau, typical rural industrial products, high-quality Vietnamese goods, and food stalls.

The delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Fair.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Duong Vu Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and Head of the Fair Organizing Committee, affirmed: "The fair is not only a space for displaying and introducing products, but also a place where the will, intelligence, and entrepreneurial spirit of the business community, cooperatives, and people of Ca Mau converge."

Mr. Duong Vu Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, urged businesses and production and trading establishments participating in the Fair to prioritize reputation and social responsibility, building long-term trust with consumers.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade urged businesses and production and trading establishments to strictly comply with the regulations of the law on trade; ensure the quality of goods and food safety; publicly display prices and sell at the correct price; and prioritize reputation and social responsibility. Through this, they should view the trade fair as an important opportunity to affirm their brand and build long-term trust with consumers.

In addition, participating units need to proactively connect with and seek partners, expand their consumer markets, and pay particular attention to developing modern sales channels and e-commerce, aiming for sustainable development.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Duong Vu Nam, along with other delegates, visited the OCOP product display booth.

The fair will take place from February 7-14. This is one of the province's practical activities to compete in achieving accomplishments to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse. It contributes to creating a vibrant and attractive shopping and entertainment space to serve local people and tourists visiting Ca Mau during the spring days.
