2,400 international tourists aboard a luxury cruise ship 'inaugurated' Ha Long Bay on the first day of Tet (Lunar New Year).

On the morning of February 17th (the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse), 2,400 international tourists on two luxury cruise ships were the first visitors to arrive in Ha Long Bay.

Early on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse), Mr. Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ha Long International Cruise Port, were present to welcome the first international passengers of the new year.

Two cruise ships, Seabourn Encore (571 passengers) and Piano Land (1,793 passengers), mainly from Hong Kong (China), Europe, and the United States, docked at Ha Long International Cruise Port in a joyful atmosphere on New Year's Day.

Here, tourists were delighted to receive lucky red envelopes (li xi) for the New Year from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province. Many tourists were thrilled to experience the Lunar New Year atmosphere in Vietnam for the first time.

2,400 tourists were delighted to arrive at Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province.
