2,500 police trainees practice to welcome the Party Congress.

(VTC News) - 2,500 students from the People's Police Academy participated in a large-scale rehearsal of a traditional drum performance, preparing for an art program celebrating the successful conclusion of the Party Congress.

On January 16th and 17th, at My Dinh National Stadium ( Hanoi ), 2,500 students from the People's Police Academy participated in rehearsals for the largest-ever large-scale drum performance, in preparation for a special artistic program celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party .

Thousands of trainees participate in large-scale, synchronized group practice sessions, ensuring the technical requirements and uniformity of the performance are met.

The performance involved nearly 2,500 people, including almost 2,000 students playing small drums, 350 students performing flag dances, and over 100 students providing backup dancing, creating a magnificent and unified overall spectacle…

The highlight of this drum performance is the 14 large drums, symbolizing the 14 editions of the Congress. Each drum, reaching 4 meters in height and over 2.5 meters in diameter, is positioned in the center of the formation. Each drum beat not only creates a powerful, rhythmic sound but also sets the tempo for the entire performance.

Prior to today's rehearsal, nearly 2,500 trainees spent almost a month practicing day and night. The official performance will take place on the closing day of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The drum performance, titled "Dawn of a New Era," recreates the national spirit, strategic vision, and aspirations for integration and development in the new era. It also serves as a vivid symbol of collective strength, discipline, courage, and readiness to undertake tasks—core qualities of a People's Public Security officer.

Speaking at the inspection, Major General Chu Xuan Dung, Deputy Director of the People's Police Academy, praised the sense of responsibility and effort of the trainees participating in the practice. He also emphasized that this drum performance was not only an artistic display, but also a solemn and spirited greeting from the youth of the People's Police force to the Congress.

According to the plan, the drum performance will be presented as part of the art program celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, scheduled to take place on January 23rd at My Dinh National Stadium.
