At around 3:30 p.m. on November 29, a fire broke out in the parking lot of a beauty salon on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ban Co Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Smoke billowed up and covered the entire street. At that time, there were 5 customers and 15 employees inside the beauty salon who were able to escape safely.

The beauty salon's security guard coordinated with the ward police to use mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but could not control it. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police mobilized vehicles (including a ladder truck) and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.






Ambulances were dispatched to the scene in case anyone was trapped inside. Firefighters extinguished the fire while conducting search and rescue operations inside the building. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
Initial investigation determined that there were no human casualties in the fire. The cause of the fire is being clarified.
