
This year’s season carries the message of “Persistence in service”, recording an outstanding number of participating projects with 160 entries from businesses, social organizations and individuals across the country. Each entry is a story about a persistent journey to create positive impacts for the community from nature conservation, sustainable livelihood development to education , healthcare and cultural identity preservation.
The applications were comprehensively evaluated by the Preliminary Board, including many sustainable development experts and prestigious social activists from domestic and international organizations, according to the following criteria: Commitment and long-term sustainability; clear social impact; creativity and replicability; influence and ability to inspire positivity in the community. As a result, 27 projects were selected for the Final Round.
Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh, Head of the Award Organizing Committee shared: “Right in the first season, the Human Act Prize was approved as a national award. From "Pioneering Imprint", "Creative Community", to this season, the award has the theme "Persevering Service" with the desire to recognize the mark of individuals, organizations and businesses that have persistently contributed to society".
Director of the Human Act Prize Bui Ngoc Hai, a member of the Preliminary Jury, shared: “This year, there have been a number of outstanding projects that have had a strong and lasting impact on the community. When reading and evaluating these projects, many members of the Preliminary Jury were surprised by the ideas and impressions. Among them, there are projects that have contributed to changing the intellectual level of many people in mountainous and island areas. Selecting 27 projects for the Final Round was not easy, because there were many quality projects.”
Among the 27 projects entering the final round of the Human Act Prize 2025, there are a number of projects that have attracted much attention and have had a great impact on society, such as: School Internet of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel); Intergenerational Self-Help Club implemented by the Vietnam Association of the Elderly; Regenerating coconut gardens, greening the future of Ben Tre Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Betrimex); Pangolin rescue and conservation program implemented by the Wildlife Conservation Center in Vietnam; Human love in the waves implemented by the 116 Rescue Team...
The projects selected for the Human Act Prize 2025 Final Round are meaningful not only in their current value but also in their long-term impact on the sustainable development of society. These are persistent efforts that contribute to narrowing the gap in knowledge, opportunities and living conditions between regions, especially mountainous and island areas; projects on education, technology and digital transformation create conditions for the young generation and people in difficult areas to access new knowledge, opening up more equitable development opportunities.
In addition, initiatives on nature conservation and biodiversity help preserve valuable resources and raise awareness of living in harmony with the environment. Many innovative models can also be replicated, creating a resonant impact, becoming good lessons for other organizations and localities.
