The national airline plans to take delivery of 50 Boeing 737-8s between 2030 and 2032, increasing its fleet to approximately 151 aircraft by 2030, with a priority on developing a narrow-body fleet to increase frequency, flexibility, and optimize operating costs.

Sun Phu Quoc Airways also signed a contract to purchase 40 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from Boeing Corporation, with an estimated total value of $22.5 billion.

This aircraft line also affirms the airline's commitment to sustainable development, as it helps save 20-25% on fuel and reduce emissions. Simultaneously, the modern wide-body fleet will further strengthen the airline's operational capabilities.

Meanwhile, Vietjet signed a contract with Pratt & Whitney (part of RTX Corporation) for the selection, purchase of engines, and maintenance services for 44 A321NEO and A321XLR aircraft using GTF engines, with a total value of approximately $5.4 billion.
