In the morning, Comrade Luong Cuong, Member of the Political Bureau and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, chaired the session on behalf of the Presidium.
During the morning session, 15 delegates from various delegations and agencies delivered speeches: the Central Military Commission; the Government Party Committee; the Central Public Security Party Committee; the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations; the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Central Policy and Strategy Department; the Hanoi City Party Committee; the National Assembly Party Committee; the Central Organization Department; the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction ; the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology; the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; the My Hao Ward Party Committee (Hung Yen province); and the Central Inspection Committee.
In the afternoon, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Political Bureau and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, chaired the session on behalf of the Presidium.
In the afternoon session, 15 delegates from various delegations and agencies delivered speeches: Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; Co To Special Zone Party Committee (Quang Ninh Province); Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Tan Khanh Trung Commune Party Committee (Dong Thap Province); Central Internal Affairs Commission; Saigon Ward Party Committee (Ho Chi Minh City); Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Party Committee; Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; Ministry of Finance Party Committee; Son La Provincial Party Committee; Phu Quoc Special Zone Party Committee (An Giang Province); Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee; Can Tho City Party Committee; Party Committees of Central Party Agencies; and Hue City Party Committee.
Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of the Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone Party Committee, Le Quoc Anh, presented his paper at the Congress.
The discussions focused on the key contents of the Document and important issues of concern to the people, cadres, and Party members. The atmosphere of discussion was lively, frank, and democratic. The Presidium of the Congress respectfully acknowledges and highly appreciates the contents of the discussions and the heartfelt and insightful opinions of the delegates attending the Congress, and at the same time directs the Document Subcommittee to review and incorporate the relevant opinions to finalize the draft Document for the Congress to decide upon.
For specific and particular recommendations, the Presidium will compile and incorporate them, then forward them to the 14th Central Committee of the Party for consideration and concretization in specialized resolutions, action programs to implement the resolutions, and to finalize the content of the 14th Party Congress Resolution.
Tomorrow, January 22, 2026, the Congress will continue its work as scheduled.
