The fireworks display in Hanoi on New Year's Eve of the Year of the Horse 2026 will last 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on February 17th, creating a highlight to welcome the new year throughout the capital city.
According to the plan of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Lunar New Year fireworks display aims to bring a joyful and exciting atmosphere to the people and tourists during the transition from the old year to the new year. The total cost of implementation is nearly 40 billion VND, secured from the city budget combined with social contributions.
Specifically, Hanoi has arranged 11 high-altitude fireworks display sites combining low-altitude and pyrotechnic displays, along with 23 low-altitude fireworks display sites. Each high-altitude fireworks display site uses 700 fireworks, accompanied by 60 low-altitude fireworks displays and 30 pyrotechnic displays and floral fountains. The low-altitude fireworks display sites are equipped with 120 fireworks displays each, ensuring uniform scale across all areas.
