Mr. Dang Thanh Hoa, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Khanh commune, said that the drawing process was conducted openly and transparently.

According to Mr. Hoa, the households have drawn lots for numbers corresponding to the house numbers on the resettlement area design diagram and are looking forward to the day they can move into their new homes.

Previously, Bao Yen District People's Committee directed relevant departments to coordinate with Phuc Khanh commune to guide the development of plans, organize lottery draws, and at the same time request people to clean up, plant trees, and build landscapes in the resettlement area.

The new resettlement area for Nu village residents is built at Sim Hill, with high, spacious terrain, ensuring safety, about 2km from the old village. The construction scale of phase 1 is 10ha.

After more than 2 months of construction, Corps 12 has organized 3 shifts, 4 crews, speeding up the construction progress, expected to complete the resettlement area before December 22. Along with that, community works in the resettlement area will also be built, ensuring stable and long-term living for people.

The first roofs are gradually completed in the Lang Nu resettlement area . After more than 1 month of construction, the first 3 houses in the Lang Nu resettlement area (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province) have been roofed. The image of the small village is gradually taking shape.
