35% of the total number of excellent valedictorians in 2025 of the Capital are party members

As part of a series of programs to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the capital this year, on the afternoon of November 13, valedictorians registered for the Golden Book at the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi).

Representatives of the Central Youth Union, the Central Vietnam Student Association, and the Hanoi Youth Union witnessed the excellent valedictorians of 2025 registering for the Golden Book.

Thus, after 23 years of implementation, the total number of excellent valedictorians of Hanoi city being honored has reached 2,351 cases. Through this, it continues to affirm the regular and deep attention of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital for the cause of education - training, nurturing and promoting the young generation; is a vivid proof for the policy of valuing talents, encouraging lifelong learning, and building a learning society.

Among the 95 outstanding young faces, there are 35 males and 60 females; 90 valedictorians graduated from public schools, the remaining 5 valedictorians graduated from private schools. Regarding academic results, 64 cases achieved excellent results, 31 cases achieved good results.

Notably, 33 excellent valedictorians in 2025 are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; 44 valedictorians are Youth Union and Association officials.

The valedictorians are divided into 6 majors: engineering, management-culture-society; economics, pedagogy; medicine-pharmacy; armed forces. Of which, the management-culture-society major has the most with 31 cases; the medicine-pharmacy major has the least with 6 cases.

Organized by the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, the ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the capital in 2025 will take place at the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi) on the evening of November 14.

Before registering for the Golden Book, the valedictorians reported their achievements, visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; offered incense at Thang Long Imperial Citadel; and interacted with outstanding students of Chu Van An High School.
