Five key leaders serve as the Head and Deputy Head of the Politburo's Steering Committee.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Steering Committee for summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution has been established by the Politburo. The Head of the Steering Committee is General Secretary To Lam, with four key leaders of the Party and State serving as Deputy Heads.

At the National Conference on the Implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party on the afternoon of February 7th, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, Doan Minh Huan, announced the Politburo's decision on the establishment of the Steering Committee for summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930-2030), orienting the country's leadership for the next 100 years (2030-2130), and summarizing 40 years of implementing the program for building the country during the transitional period to socialism (the Steering Committee).

According to the Politburo's decision, General Secretary To Lam will head the Steering Committee.

The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man , and Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu (Permanent Deputy Head).

Other Deputy Heads of the Committee include: Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Trinh Van Quyet, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy Doan Minh Huan, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang.

The Politburo's decision also specified the members of the Steering Committee, including: former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Van An, Nguyen Sinh Hung, and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; and former Standing Committee members of the Party Central Committee Le Hong Anh and Tran Quoc Vuong.

Chairperson of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri, Chief of the Central Party Office Pham Gia Tuc, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh, Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Thanh Nghi... are also members of the Steering Committee.

Other members of the Steering Committee include: former Head of the Central Organization Department To Huy Rua; former Head of the Central Internal Affairs Department Phan Dinh Trac; Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien; Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang; Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang; Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang; and former Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi.

Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang; Standing Member of the Subcommittee on Documents for the 14th Party Congress Nguyen Van Nen; Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Van Quang; Deputy Head of the Standing Office of the Central Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha... are also on the list of members of the Steering Committee.

In addition, the Politburo decided on the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, comprising General Secretary To Lam (Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Standing Committee); Standing Committee member of the Party Central Committee Tran Cam Tu (Deputy Head of the Standing Committee); and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Trinh Van Quyet.

The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee also includes Doan Minh Huan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; Nguyen Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Le Minh Tri, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Pham Gia Tuc, Chief of the Central Party Office; Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; and Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission.

The Steering Committee is tasked with summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930-2030), setting the direction for national leadership in the next 100 years (2030-2130), and summarizing 40 years of implementing the program for national construction during the transitional period to socialism.

The Steering Committee is also tasked with guiding the development of the national development and defense program in the new era of development; and reporting to the Politburo and the Central Committee of the 15th Party Congress for submission to the 15th Party Congress.

According to the Politburo's decision, the Steering Committee operates on a part-time basis and is authorized to use the seal of the Central Committee of the Party for its work.

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is the permanent body of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee will dissolve itself after completing its nhiệm vụ.
