6 out of 14 redundant officials and civil servants after the merger of communes in Binh Giang have resigned or quit their jobs.

Implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025, Binh Giang district has 2 communes Binh Minh and Thai Hoc merged to form a new administrative unit, Thai Minh. Along with Hai Duong city, Binh Giang is the locality with the fewest administrative units to be arranged in the province in this period.

It is expected that after the merger, Thai Minh commune will have 35 cadres and civil servants (19 cadres, 16 civil servants), 14 people more than the regulation.

Of the 14 redundant people, 6 people requested to resign due to health reasons, lack of professional qualifications, and other reasons.

Thus, when Thai Minh commune was established, there were still 8 cadres and civil servants that needed to be arranged and assigned.
