Sustainable development is a top priority

At the conference on investment promotion in the Central Coast provinces held today (October 11), Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that by 2030, Binh Dinh strives to become a leading developed province in the Central region, connecting and having a spillover effect on the provinces of the Northern Central Highlands.

The province's economy develops rapidly, sustainably and greener, based on growth pillars: manufacturing and processing industry, tourism services, logistics and transportation, high-tech agriculture, and urbanization. Development in all areas takes the principle of sustainable development as the top priority.

Besides, the province will strongly improve the investment and business environment, becoming an attractive destination for large domestic and foreign investors and enterprises.

“By 2050, Binh Dinh will continue to be among the leading provinces in the Central region, with a GRDP per capita and urbanization rate higher than the national average; a center of science and technology, innovation, and an important place for artificial intelligence applications in Vietnam,” said the Chairman of Binh Dinh Province.

Binh Dinh prioritizes investment calling areas

The head of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province said that, promoting the advantages of the region and the available potential of the locality, the province focuses on inviting investors with modern, environmentally friendly technology, efficient use of resources, and products with competitive advantages.

Specifically, priority areas calling for investment include agriculture, forestry and fishery such as agricultural, forestry and fishery processing plants, with a special focus on deep processing.

Second, the industrial sector is the infrastructure of industrial parks and clusters; factories producing components, manufacturing and assembling automobiles; manufacturing specialized electric motors; manufacturing electric wires and cables, electrical equipment and accessories; manufacturing fashion items; renewable energy projects (wind, solar...).

Third, the port and logistics service sector includes deep-water ports and logistics centers in Phu My district; ICDs and logistics in Van Canh and Tuy Phuoc districts.

Fourth, tourism sector, tourist areas along the coast of Binh Dinh province with a length of 134km, eco-tourism of Thi Nai lagoon, Quy Nhon city, golf course, Vinh Son eco-tourism area (Vinh Thanh), La Vuong (Hoai Nhon town)

Fifth, urban economic sector: Nam De Gi and Bac De Gi urban areas; urban areas east of Thi Nai Lagoon, Quy Nhon city.

Sixth, in the field of health and education, calling for investment projects in international hospitals and international bilingual schools.

Seventh, the information technology sector calls for software production projects; data centers (Big Data); semiconductor component projects, artificial intelligence (AI), network security...

The Chairman of Binh Dinh Province affirmed that the province always creates favorable conditions to support investors from forming ideas, seeking investment opportunities, to building projects and implementing operations quickly and effectively; creating the most favorable investment and business environment for investors. And, Binh Dinh does not trade the environment for economic benefits.

At the conference, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan awarded investment decisions to 5 projects, with a total registered capital of nearly 2,000 billion VND.

These are the project of the factory producing biological pellets and processing wood materials for interior decoration in Van Canh district of Nhon Tan Warehouse Investment and Development Company Limited. The project of the Hoai Chau wood processing and handicraft factory (Hoai Nhon town) of Kim Thanh Lap Forestry Joint Stock Company. The project of the packaging paper factory in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park (An Nhon town) of Hoang Ha Binh Dinh Paper Joint Stock Company. The project of the packaging paper factory in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park of Phu An Thanh Binh Dinh Company Limited. The project of the high-grade aluminum and iron factory in Cat Nhon Industrial Cluster (Phu Cat district) of Phu Tai Binh Dinh Wood Company Limited.

Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee also signed a memorandum of understanding with C+ Consulting and Investment JSC in supporting and cooperating in promoting investment in industrial projects in the automobile industry and high-tech manufacturing; signed a memorandum of understanding with Eurorack Mechanical JSC in researching and investing in factories for the production of mechanical components, auto accessories, and auxiliary mechanical equipment for export and logistics, etc.
