"Happy Vietnam" is a media award focusing on human rights, where beautiful moments about Vietnam and its people are captured from the authentic perspectives of tens of thousands of authors both domestically and internationally.
Since its first edition in 2023, nearly 40,000 entries, including photos and video clips, have been submitted, creating a national database about a happy Vietnam, told by and for the people.
This year's event space is organized along the streets of Le Thai To – Hang Khay – Dinh Tien Hoang – Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
This journey takes participants through 13 experiential points, each representing a different emotional rhythm: the "Happy Vietnam" exhibition; the digital interactive space; the photobooth and art exhibition areas; the "Tree of Happiness" – where wishes are entrusted; the lens of happiness, the map of happiness; sending happiness to tomorrow; sharing happiness; the outdoor activity "Health is Happiness"; and the "Happy Radio Announcer". All these elements merge into a larger flow, telling the story: "Happiness is present in every small moment of Vietnamese life."

According to the organizers, a "Tree of Happiness" will be set up at the Ly Thai To Monument to receive wishes, expressions of gratitude, and messages of sharing from everyone. Each piece of paper hung up is like a seed of kindness, from which happiness will multiply, spread, and touch the hearts of all. At the Tree of Happiness, the organizers will give away 80,000 souvenir gifts to locals and tourists.
Additionally, the event will include a parade of Vietnamese traditional costumes with a specific theme. The "Hundred Flowers Walking Parade" will take place on December 7th. This event is expected to feature approximately 800 people in traditional costumes marching through Hanoi's Old Quarter, showcasing a thousand years of history amidst modernity and setting a record for the number of people wearing Vietnamese attire in a parade.

The "Lens of Happiness" workshop, offering art lovers the opportunity to listen to experts, practice photography, and discover the beauty of ordinary life in every frame, will take place from December 6th to 7th.
The highlight of the event was the mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples with the theme... “Couple's Day - Love is Happiness” will take place at 7:30 AM on December 6th at the Ho Guom area, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi. This mass wedding ceremony is not only for young couples but also an opportunity to honor couples who have been together for decades, a beautiful testament to fidelity and understanding in love.
The Happy Vietnam 2025 awards ceremony will take place on December 6th and will be televised. Live on VTV4, honoring the most inspiring photographs and videos about happiness in Vietnam.
“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” is not only a cultural and artistic festival, but also an affirmation that: Vietnam's happiness is built on peace, love, solidarity, and the simplest things. In each activity, the program also conveys a focus on Central Vietnam – where people across the country are sharing and supporting each other to overcome difficulties.
