85 years since President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam - marking the beginning of the great victories of the Vietnamese Revolution.

On January 12th, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the People's Committee of Cao Bang province organized a scientific conference titled "85 Years Since President Ho Chi Minh's Return to Vietnam (January 28, 1941 / January 28, 2026): The Initiating Event for the Great Victories of the Vietnamese Revolution".

This is a key activity in the series of events commemorating the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam to lead the Vietnamese Revolution, organized by Cao Bang province.

The workshop was chaired by Ms. Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Comrade Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, delivered a speech at the workshop.

The conference selected 153 meticulously prepared scientific papers, spanning three main areas: the historical context and position of Cao Bang in the Vietnamese revolution; the imprint, role, and impact of President Ho Chi Minh's return to Vietnam on the revolution; and the system of historical sites associated with President Ho Chi Minh in Cao Bang - historical value and solutions for preservation and promotion in the context of digital transformation.

The delegates chaired the workshop.

The seminar demonstrated the younger generation's interest in revolutionary historical and cultural values. Many students and young researchers expressed their desire to contribute to spreading and promoting the ideological, ethical, and stylistic legacy of Ho Chi Minh through research, study, and creative activities.

Hoang Hong Duc, a member of the Vietnamese Culture Research Group (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), said: “Through researching and presenting the paper at the conference on ‘Solutions to promote the value of local cuisine and handicrafts bearing the mark of Pac Bo for local tourism development,’ we learned from President Ho Chi Minh’s spirit of resilience and indomitability; from there, we strive to become ‘cultural ambassadors,’ contributing to promoting and developing heritage values, especially the revolutionary heritage of President Ho Chi Minh.”

Comrade Phan Thăng An, Secretary of the Cao Bằng Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the workshop.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Phan Thang An, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the conference not only has scientific research significance but also makes an important contribution to summarizing practical experiences and developing theories; providing a scientific basis for political and ideological education in the new situation.
