Over the time of launching, the Organizing Committee has received 96 works by 56 participating authors. After two preliminary and final rounds, the jury selected 9 best works to award. The work "Sound of alluvium" by author Pham Quoc Rin (Ca Mau province) won the second prize (no first prize), "The story of the motherland pearl" by author Nguyen Kim Nghiep (Bac Lieu province) and " People who are heavily indebted to boats" by author Le Quang Trang (An Giang province) won the third prize. In addition, 6 other works won the Consolation Prize.
