"After more than a year of preparing documents, researching and interviewing, Phuong Anh was accepted into the PhD in Management program at RMIT University, starting in November 2025," Phuong Anh said.
The Vietnamese runner-up shared that this is a journey she has cherished for a long time, not only to continue expanding her knowledge, but also to pursue the values she believes in, which are research, education and sustainable contributions to the community.

"Phuong Anh thanks RMIT Vietnam and RMIT University for trusting her and awarding her a full scholarship. She is grateful to her teachers, mentors, colleagues and those who have always accompanied, given advice and encouraged her throughout the time she prepared her application," she said.
The scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement, the quality of the research proposal, and the candidate’s experience and ability. Phuong Anh spent a lot of time preparing the topic and passed the selection rounds at the school level to receive the scholarship.
Phuong Anh said that in the near future she will pursue a PhD program while maintaining her teaching job at RMIT HCMC. Besides, she still participates in entertainment events, works as an MC, and does fashion shows.
In June 2024, after receiving her master's degree, Phuong Anh became a lecturer at RMIT University. On her personal page, she often shares her school activities on social networks, from classroom fashion, extracurricular activities to common situations in the teaching environment.
In September 2021, Phuong Anh received a 50% master's scholarship, worth 300 million VND from this school. Phuong Anh prepared her application and registered for the Global Trade major.
Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh, born in 1998, won the 1st runner-up title of Miss Vietnam 2020. While still in school, Phuong Anh won the 2015 Ao Dai Female Student Championship and the 3rd prize in the National Excellent Student Competition in French in 2016.
She was admitted directly to the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi and the University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City. The beauty was admitted to the Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City and received a full scholarship for four years at RMIT University.
Phuong Anh has two foreign language certificates including IELTS 8.0 and DALF C1 French. In March 2021, Phuong Anh graduated as valedictorian of the Information Management System major. In her free time, she studies Japanese. Phuong Anh represented Vietnam at Miss International 2022 but did not win any prizes.
Phuong Anh married businessman, PhD Ho Dac Duc in September 2023. Her husband was born in 1994 and studied for his PhD in the UK.
