First runner-up Thu Ngan has officially departed for Egypt to compete in the 53rd Miss Intercontinental pageant.

Last night (January 12th), runner-up Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Egypt to officially participate in the 53rd Miss Intercontinental pageant. Thu Ngan's international journey will last for two weeks, from January 14th to January 29th.

Appearing at the airport before departure, runner-up Thu Ngan wore a seductive design by designer Thanh Huong Bui, exuding a radiant and confident aura.

Besides her family from Ca Mau , director Hoang Nhat and her "sisterhood" including Miss Kieu Duy, Yen Nhi, and Runner-up Thu Tra and Phuong Anh were also present to support the beauty queen on her journey in the pageant.

Accompanying runner-up Thu Ngan at the international beauty pageant, stylist Pham Minh Hieu and his team meticulously prepared over 100kg of luggage with nearly 30 outfits from various designers and brands. Thu Ngan stated that every accessory was carefully chosen to ensure an impressive look that would help her shine on the international stage.

“ I see this as a visual chess game. From the official red carpet to the smallest side events, Thu Ngan cannot afford to be unremarkable. For me, just fitting in isn't enough; it has to be appropriate and leave a lasting impression, ” stylist Pham Minh Hieu shared.

Thu Ngan's luggage also included the traditional costume "Chau Ro Harvest Festival." This is not just a competition outfit, but also the labor of love from Thu Ngan and the design duo Pham Thi Ngoc Trang and Nguyen Viet Hung, who wish to introduce the beauty of the culture and rich spiritual life of the Chau Ro ethnic group to friends around the world .

In addition, the evening gown for the final night, titled "Desert Flame" - an eternal flame in the desert, inspired by the fiery and enduring beauty of the Egyptian desert, was also brought along by the beauty queen.

To embark on her journey with Miss Intercontinental, Thu Ngan shared that she has been actively improving her knowledge and perfecting her communication and etiquette skills, English proficiency, catwalk, makeup, and hairstyling over the past period. Accompanying her is a panel of professional advisors, makeup artists, and hairstylists.

According to the schedule, tomorrow (January 14th), runner-up Thu Ngan will land in Egypt and officially join the competition alongside approximately 60 girls from all over the world. Besides the opportunity to explore the magnificent nature and vibrant culture of Egypt, Thu Ngan and the other contestants will participate in challenges and preliminary rounds. The 53rd Miss Intercontinental final will take place in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt on January 29th.
