Specifically, members of the Vietnamese futsal team caused damage to the organizers' locker room after their 5-4 victory against Kuwait on January 27th.
According to the AFC, the VFF is responsible for paying this amount within 30 days of the penalty being issued. This is considered a warning penalty, requiring the entire team to take greater responsibility in complying with the rules of conduct and discipline at the continental tournament.
In addition, Vietnamese futsal player Duong Ngoc Linh was also disciplined. The AFC decided to suspend him for one match and fine him $1,000 (approximately 26 million VND) for receiving two yellow cards in the 2-0 victory against Lebanon on January 29th, resulting in an indirect red card. Ngoc Linh subsequently missed the match against Thailand on January 31st.
Furthermore, the AFC also sanctioned host nation Indonesia for a series of serious violations related to security and order at the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship.
The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) has been fined $14,000 (362 million rupiah) for this violation. PSSI Executive Committee member Arya Sinulingga confirmed that the organization will comply with the penalty and will not appeal.

Specifically, the penalties imposed on PSSI stemmed from four different violations. Among them, the organization was fined $3,000 for allowing unauthorized persons to enter the stadium and technical area after the Indonesia vs. South Korea match on January 27th. A similar offense, related to spectators rushing onto the field after the match, resulted in an additional $3,000 fine for PSSI.
The AFC imposed a $5,000 fine on PSSI for failing to ensure safety and order when spectators were present on the pitch. They also received an additional $3,000 fine for allowing five spectators to enter the stadium without permission during the match between Iran and Afghanistan on February 1st.
