Agribank Nam Nghe An and Ha Tinh II Branches support more than 500 million VND for people in flood-affected areas

On December 2, a working delegation from Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch and Agribank Ha Tinh II Branch visited, encouraged and gave gifts to flood victims in Dak Lak province. This is an activity to share the difficulties with people after the recent historic floods.

Accordingly, the delegation went to Hiep Dong village and Phu Khe 2 village (Hoa Xuan commune) to present 410 gifts with a total value of 310 million VND. At Phong Hau village (Phu Hoa 1 commune), the delegation continued to present 200 gifts with a total value of 160 million VND.

Each package includes necessities and 500,000 VND in cash, helping people overcome difficulties in the first days of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

In addition, the delegation also paid special attention to households with flood victims, the disabled, and vulnerable people in the community. The total amount of cash support given to these people was nearly 40 million VND.

The total value of this support is more than 500 million VND, contributed by officers and employees of Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch and Agribank Ha Tinh II Branch.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Hung, Deputy Director of Agribank Nam Nghe An Branch, said that with the humane tradition of the banking system serving agriculture , farmers and rural areas, Agribank is always ready to accompany the government and people in times of natural disasters and calamities. Therefore, as soon as they heard that Dak Lak province suffered heavy damage due to floods, the staff and employees of the two branches quickly mobilized contributions.

“We want to share the difficulties with people in flood-affected areas, helping families quickly stabilize their spirits, restore production and return to normal life,” said Mr. Le Xuan Hung.
