Agribank Yen Bai Branch signed an inter-sectoral agreement to implement credit policies to serve agricultural and rural development.

On the afternoon of November 13, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Yen Bai Branch organized the signing of an inter-sectoral agreement with the Women's Union and the Farmers' Association of Lao Cai province on credit policies serving agricultural and rural development.

In the period of 2022 - 2025, the Farmers' Association, the Provincial Women's Union and Agribank Yen Bai Branch have actively coordinated with departments, branches, local authorities at all levels, and socio-political organizations to effectively implement credit policies to serve loans for economic development, agricultural and rural development, and bring capital to people as quickly as possible.

By October 31, 2025, through the farmers' association, the bank's outstanding loans reached more than 441 billion VND, 180 loan groups were established with 6,600 members. Outstanding loans through the women's association reached 30.9 billion VND, 11 loan groups were established with 479 members.

At the signing ceremony, Agribank Yen Bai Branch, Farmers' Association and Provincial Women's Union agreed on programs, plans, exchange, information provision, inspection and supervision of loan use; remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing credit policies to serve the cause of agriculture, rural development, ensuring timely and effective implementation, contributing to limiting black credit in rural areas.

According to the agreement, Agribank Yen Bai Branch will create favorable conditions for women members and farmer members to access capital managed by the branch to develop production, business, services and consumption to increase income and improve life.
