Agribank and VNPAY cooperate to deploy digital transformation solutions for business households

Agribank and VNPAY have officially signed a cooperation contract to deploy a digital transformation solution package specifically for business households and small businesses.

On the afternoon of December 1, at Agribank Headquarters, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) and Vietnam Payment Solutions Joint Stock Company (VNPAY) officially signed a cooperation contract to deploy a digital transformation solution package specifically for business households and small businesses.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of VNPAY , there was the presence of Mr. Le Tanh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Luong - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors along with leaders and officers of the business sector, the Northern business sector of VNPAY. On the side of Agribank, the event was attended by Mr. Pham Toan Vuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of Agribank along with Deputy General Directors and representatives of leaders of Departments, Centers at the Head Office, Directors of branches: Transaction Office, Lang Ha, Hanoi, Ha Tay. The signing ceremony was also attended by representatives of the target customer group who are business owners in Hanoi.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Toan Vuong - General Director of Agribank emphasized that this is a strategic step to accompany business households in the important transition period, from lump-sum tax to declaration according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP and new regulations of the Ministry of Finance . The General Director of Agribank said that millions of business households will have to apply electronic invoices, automatically transmit tax data and build standardized management processes, requirements that are not easy to implement for customer groups with limited digitalization levels.

Therefore, through cooperation with VNPAY, Agribank hopes to bring a comprehensive, low-cost but highly effective solution set, helping business households confidently and conveniently enter the digital transformation roadmap. This support does not stop at providing financial services but also includes sales management tools, issuing electronic invoices and connecting data with tax authorities, thereby improving transparency and stabilizing cash flow for businesses.

Along with technological solutions, Agribank offers many notable financial incentives including free opening and maintaining of payment accounts, preferential account numbers, free balance notification via OTT on the Agribank Plus application. In particular, the bank deploys a preferential credit package from 4.5%/year for business households, a meaningful support level in the context that business people have to invest in additional equipment, digital platforms and change operating procedures to meet new legal requirements.

The solution set includes VNPAY-Invoice electronic invoices, data storage using VNPAY Cloud, VNPAY-CA digital signatures, sales management software, and payment devices such as VNPAY-POS and PhonePOS. The Vice Chairman of VNPAY's Board of Directors believes that this solution set will help business households fully comply with tax declaration requirements, manage revenue in real time and make business operations transparent, a key factor in shifting from an experience-based model to a data-based model. Mr. Le Tanh emphasized that the cooperation between Agribank and VNPAY today begins a new journey, a journey to bring digital technology to every business household, every enterprise and every locality.

The signing of the Agribank - VNPAY cooperation agreement took place at a time when the market is witnessing the strongest digital transformation speed in the private economic sector. New requirements on electronic invoices, data standardization and revenue transparency have forced many business households to completely change their operating model.
