The Awards Ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV1 and simultaneously on the official Facebook and YouTube channels of the VinFuture Foundation, starting at 8:00 p.m. (Hanoi time) on the evening of December 5.
The award ceremony is a profound gratitude from the VinFuture Foundation to the breakthrough inventions and scientific achievements that are contributing to creating a better future for billions of people around the world, while also bringing sublime performances, conveying a bright vision of a sustainable world - where humans are in harmony with nature and everyone is equal.
VinFuture Foundation is a non-profit organization co-founded on December 20, 2020 by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, the first billionaire of Vietnam, and his wife, Mrs. Pham Thu Huong. The core activity of the foundation is to award the annual VinFuture Prize for groundbreaking scientific research and technological innovations that have the potential to create meaningful changes in people's lives.
The VinFuture Prize consists of four categories. The main prize, worth $3 million, is one of the most valuable in the world; three special prizes, each worth $500,000, are awarded to female scientists, scientists from developing countries, and scientists researching new fields.
