According to Marca , Militao has just concluded his third consecutive disappointing season with Real Madrid. Over the past three years, the Brazilian center-back has only played in 52 out of 179 matches for the Spanish giants, a figure that highlights the severity of the fitness issues he has faced.
After two knee ligament injuries that nearly ruined the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, Militao continued to falter this season with two serious muscle injuries. The most recent one even required surgery and officially ruled him out of the 2026 World Cup.
