Heartwarming "Trade Union Meal" in Tan Son Hoa Ward

(NLĐO) - In addition to enjoying delicious food together, the disadvantaged union members and workers also received thoughtful care from the Tan Son Hoa Ward Trade Union.

On the afternoon of April 24th, the Trade Union of Tan Son Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, organized the program "Tan Son Hoa Cultivating Love - Spreading Happiness" and "Trade Union Meal in 2026". This program is part of a series of activities in response to the 18th Workers' Month implemented by the ward's Trade Union.

At the event, Mr. Huynh Dong Luan, Chairman of the Ward's Trade Union, launched the 18th Workers' Month, themed "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation and Creativity, Enhancing Labor Productivity".

According to Mr. Luan, during this year's Workers' Month, the ward's Trade Union will focus on promoting activities to care for union members and workers in a practical and in-depth manner.

Highlights include the "Tan Son Hoa Nurturing Love – Spreading Happiness" program, which cares for disadvantaged workers and those with serious illnesses; the "Trade Union Meal" program; the "Thank You to the Workers" program; healthcare for workers; and cultural and sports activities…

In addition, the Tan Son Hoa Ward Trade Union will focus more on sustainability and personalized support (caring for specific groups of workers; strengthening long-term welfare and improving working conditions in a substantive way).

Ms. Le Thi Kim Thuy, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor, presents gifts to disadvantaged union members and workers.

At the event, the Tan Son Hoa Ward Trade Union, in coordination with the MedCare Vietnam Medical Company Limited Trade Union, organized consultations and awareness campaigns on skin disease screening for union members and workers; and collaborated with various units, businesses, and philanthropists to organize a "Trade Union Meal" with the participation of 100 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

Leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor and the Tan Son Hoa Ward Party Committee joined workers in a "Trade Union Meal".

The workers enjoyed a delicious meal together.

In addition, union members and workers also received gifts (300,000 VND/each) and participated in a lucky draw program with attractive prizes.
