On the afternoon of March 14, at Minh Hai Guest House, the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee welcomed a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and districts in Ho Chi Minh City led by Ms. Tran Kim Yen, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to visit, work and carry out social security activities in Ca Mau province.
Receiving the delegation were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai, Executive Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Thi Nhung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thanh Trieu, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Le Minh Y, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's agencies Truong Dang Khoa and representatives of the provincial departments and branches. Notably, at the reception of the delegation was also Ms. Nguyen Thi Tran, mother of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai.
Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai spoke at the meeting, acknowledging and appreciating the hearts of the working delegation and sponsors for Ca Mau.
Within the framework of the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society implemented many practical activities in Ca Mau such as: inaugurating rural bridges, organizing medical examinations, health consultations, providing free medicine and giving gifts to policy families and households in difficult circumstances in the province.
Mr. Tran Truong Son, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, spoke at the exchange and implemented many practical activities in Ca Mau.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Le Thanh Trieu shared that the socio -economic development cooperation program has brought positive results in all fields in Ca Mau province.
During the friendly exchange and meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Thanh Trieu emphasized: “In recent years, the socio-economic development cooperation program between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta, including Ca Mau province, has created a strong connection between localities. This cooperation has brought about many very positive results in many fields in Ca Mau province.
Ca Mau Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai received gifts from the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society.
Ca Mau - the southernmost land of the country, still has many socio-economic difficulties, and is in great need of more resources to develop and improve people's lives. We hope to continue to receive companionship and support from Ho Chi Minh City, especially in social security programs. Today's meeting is a good opportunity for the leaders of Ca Mau province and districts and cities in the province to exchange and connect with the leaders of departments, branches, sectors, districts and towns of Ho Chi Minh City, opening up new cooperation opportunities, contributing to the further development of Ca Mau".
Mr. Tran Truong Son (right cover), Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, presented a symbolic board supporting the social security program worth a total of 3 billion VND, to Mr. Tran Quoc, Chairman of the Ca Mau Province Red Cross Society.
Speaking at the exchange, Mr. Tran Truong Son, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, shared the profound humanitarian significance of the program, which is to demonstrate the spirit of sharing and solidarity between the two localities. He also expressed his desire to continue to maintain and expand mutual support activities, helping the people of Ca Mau have more conditions to improve their lives.
Ms. Tran Kim Yen, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, presented a house worth 70 million VND. Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Han, Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, received a symbolic plaque and Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, presented flowers as a thank you.
In particular, during this working trip, the delegation presented Ca Mau province with projects worth up to 6 billion 990 million VND, including bridge construction costs, medical examination and treatment costs, gifts and many other social security supports.
Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Secretary of District 1 Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City, presented a symbolic plaque to support charity houses for Ca Mau province, with a total value of 500 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, Secretary of Binh Chanh District Party Committee, presented a symbolic plaque of 2 houses and 1 rural bridge, totaling 340 million VND, to the leaders of the Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province.
Ms. Huynh Ngoc Nu Phuong Hong, Secretary of District 5 Party Committee, presented a symbolic plaque of 800 million VND to support Ca Mau in building a rural bridge (worth 500 million VND) and 300 million VND to build charity houses (sponsored by RITA Vo Company) to the leaders of the Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province.
Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan Anh, Secretary of District 7 Party Committee, presented a symbolic plaque of 2 houses, 3 rural bridges, 200 gifts, 200 cartons of Vinamilk milk, total value of 1 billion 60 million VND to the leaders of the Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Hong, Secretary of Tan Phu District Party Committee, presented a symbolic plaque of 6 houses and 50 gifts with a total value of 470 million VND to the leaders of the Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province.
Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, presented a symbolic plaque of 3 charity houses worth 180 million VND to the leaders of the Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai shared: "This working trip has profound meaning, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and attachment between Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau province. Not only are there practical gifts, new rural bridges, or free health check-ups and care sessions, but more importantly, there is the kindness and sincere sharing that the working delegation and donors send to the people of Ca Mau."
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: "These meaningful activities are a great source of encouragement, helping people here to be more confident, overcome difficulties, and gradually improve their lives. Ca Mau Province will always remember and cherish the hearts of the leaders, the City Red Cross Society and the philanthropists who have traveled far to bring love and support to the southernmost homeland of the Fatherland. I believe that this companionship and connection will continue to be a solid bridge, helping the two localities develop sustainably, together towards the goal of building an increasingly better and more peaceful life for all people."
