According to Tuoi Tre Online on October 14, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (55 Mac Dinh Chi, Tan Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), there were many boxes of goods and necessities (such as instant noodles, bottled water, milk, medicine, etc.) sent by units, agencies, businesses and individuals in Ho Chi Minh City to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.

On the boxes of goods and necessities, handwritten messages filled with solidarity and sharing were sent to people in flood-affected areas.

The lines with the content such as: Wishing you good health, the South is always with you; Sending a little love to the people of the North, keep it up;

I wish you, my dear uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters in the North, good health; I love you so much in these difficult days in the North. I hope you are always safe and steadfast; I wish you, my dear brothers and sisters, to soon overcome the storm, overcome the difficulties, overcome the calamities, and always be peaceful and happy. Keep it up!

As of 6:00 p.m. on October 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee has received 76,391,221,374 VND in donations and support for people in provinces affected by storms and floods, from 9,792 units, agencies, businesses and individuals in Ho Chi Minh City (from August 1).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee has provided VND67.28 billion in support to people in storm and flood affected areas. Specifically: supporting 56 households affected by storms and tornadoes in Ho Chi Minh City, each household with VND5 million, worth VND280 million;

Transferring support funds to people affected by rain and floods in Nghe An province (15 billion VND), Dong Thap (1 billion VND), Dien Bien (2.5 billion VND), Son La (2.5 billion VND), Ha Tinh (15 billion VND), Quang Tri (5 billion VND), Ninh Binh (2 billion VND), Thanh Hoa (2 billion VND), Hung Yen (2 billion VND), Thai Nguyen (10 billion VND), Bac Ninh (5 billion VND), Cao Bang (3 billion VND) and Lang Son (2 billion VND).

At the same time, organize visits, encourage and support people affected by storms and floods in the Northern and North Central provinces on September 19 and 20 and October 6 and 7.

It is expected that on October 15 and 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee will continue to organize a delegation to visit, encourage and support people affected by storms and floods in Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces.
