The Deputy Prime Minister appreciated Amazon's role in promoting global technology development, especially in the fields of connectivity, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that Vietnam always attaches importance to cooperation with the world's leading technology corporations, considering this a key driving force for digital transformation and knowledge-based economic development.
To achieve the double-digit growth target in the coming time, Vietnam has identified science , technology and innovation as key development drivers. In that spirit, the Deputy Prime Minister asked Amazon to continue accompanying Vietnam on its development path in the coming time, and asked Amazon to expand cooperation with Vietnamese technology enterprises to increase production and product development in the Amazon ecosystem in Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Vietnamese Government is ready to create favorable conditions for Amazon to cooperate and invest in long-term and effective business in Vietnam, contributing to the development of the e-commerce market and the science and technology ecosystem of Vietnam.
Ms. Susan Pointer expressed her deep condolences for the damage caused by natural disasters to the Vietnamese people in recent times.
Amazon leaders highly appreciated Vietnam's socio-economic development results in 2025, especially in administrative reform and digital transformation.
The Amazon Group's leaders affirmed that recently, the Group has had many activities to support Vietnamese small and medium enterprises to export globally. In the past 12 months, the number of products sold by Vietnamese enterprises on Amazon globally increased by 35%. To date, there are thousands of Vietnamese enterprises exporting and developing global business through Amazon.

The Group affirms its long-term cooperation with Vietnam; supports the enhancement of Made in Vietnam products, and supports turning Vietnam into an export center through e-commerce in Southeast Asia.
The Group also said that recently, Amazon Global Selling Vietnam and the Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade - Ministry of Industry and Trade) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to implement the program "Vietnamese brands grow globally" with two goals: providing a comprehensive training program and online export certification for 1,000 Vietnamese enterprises; and at the same time supporting national brands to increase their international presence through e-commerce with Amazon.
Amazon representatives expressed their desire to increase the localization rate in the electronic components supply chain and encourage Vietnamese enterprises to participate more deeply in the Group's global value chain. Amazon also proposed expanding cooperation in training high-quality human resources in the fields of digital technology, data and AI, considering this a key factor for Vietnam's sustainable development in the digital age.
Thanking Amazon Group for sharing, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long highly appreciated Amazon's strong development in recent times. The Group has about 1.5 million employees worldwide, with revenue in 2024 reaching 638 billion USD.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that Vietnam is perfecting the legal framework in the fields of science and technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, high technology, etc. The Government will support businesses in developing technological capacity through flexible and transparent mechanisms, encouraging creativity and cooperation, contributing to improving competitiveness in the digital economy.
The Deputy Prime Minister also thanked Amazon for its support in making Vietnam an export hub through e-commerce in the region.
