Leaders from the Ministry of Construction , Khanh Hoa province, Agribank, and the investor performed the groundbreaking ceremony and commenced construction of the Square Nha Trang Social Housing Project.
Attending the ceremony were Tran Hong Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Minister of Construction; Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province; Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of the 4th Naval Region; Nguyen Tuan Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alphanam Group – representing the project's investor; Phung Thi Binh, Deputy General Director of Agribank ; and representatives from central and local departments, bureaus, and agencies.
The project, invested by the joint venture of Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company and Foodinco Quy Nhon Joint Stock Company, covers an area of over 10,370 m² in An Binh Tan Urban Area, Nam Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province; with a total investment of over 1.115 billion VND, of which Agribank provides 670 billion VND in credit financing.

The project boasts a prime location at the southern gateway of the city, situated on the transportation axis connecting Cam Ranh International Airport with the center of Nha Trang, contributing to the formation of a modern, integrated residential area aligned with the local sustainable urban development orientation. With nearly 800 apartments, the project is expected to meet the housing needs of approximately 2,000 residents, primarily low-income workers, factory workers, and those eligible for social welfare policies as stipulated by law.
In particular, the project will prioritize allocating a portion of the apartment units to support officers and soldiers of the 4th Naval Region, contributing to addressing the housing needs and stabilizing the lives of those performing specialized duties, demonstrating the concern of the Party, the State, local authorities, and the banking system for the welfare of military personnel.

The apartments in the project are scientifically designed, optimizing functionality and ensuring a comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly living space. The design standards, construction quality, and technical infrastructure are invested in comprehensively, approaching those of commercial housing projects, thereby contributing to improving the quality of social housing and gradually changing perceptions of living conditions for people in this segment.
A tripartite cooperation agreement was signed between the Command of Naval Region 4, Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company, and Agribank Khanh Hoa Branch to support officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 in purchasing houses in the Project.
At the ceremony, Agribank signed important contracts and agreements, including: a credit agreement between Agribank's Head Office Branch and Agribank's Khanh Hoa Branch with the investor to finance the Square Nha Trang Social Housing Project; an agreement to finance social housing buyers between Agribank's Khanh Hoa Branch and the project investor; and a tripartite cooperation agreement between the 4th Naval Region Command, Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company, and Agribank's Khanh Hoa Branch to support officers and soldiers of the 4th Naval Region in accessing and purchasing houses in the project, contributing to stabilizing their lives, ensuring peace of mind in their work, and effectively fulfilling their nhiệm vụ of protecting the sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.

As a leading state-owned commercial bank, Agribank has so far signed commitments to provide credit for 23 social housing projects implemented under Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP and is in the process of approaching and considering providing credit for 6 other projects.
In addition, Agribank focuses on financing homebuyers in social housing projects, contributing to bringing preferential credit policies to the right beneficiaries and supporting people in realizing their need for a place to live.
The signing and implementation of credit financing for the Square Nha Trang Social Housing Project not only affirms Agribank's role, prestige, and capacity in supporting the country's socio-economic development programs, but also contributes to building a stable and sustainable community, ensuring social security, and maintaining political stability in the locality.
