An Giang needs to recruit 2,630 civil servants for the education sector.

According to a plan recently issued by the An Giang Department of Education and Training, the province needs to recruit 2,630 civil servants in the education sector in 2026.

On January 22nd, the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province announced that it had issued a plan for recruiting civil servants in the education sector for 2026.

Accordingly, the province needs to recruit 2,630 civil servants, including 421 positions at public service units under the Department of Education and Training; and 2,209 positions at educational public service units under the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones.

Job positions requiring recruitment include: high school teachers (Grade III) (274 people); junior high school teachers (Grade III) (447 people); primary school teachers (Grade III) (632 people); kindergarten teachers (Grade III) (745 people); vocational education teachers (20 people); equipment and laboratory staff (59 people); school administrators (29 people); librarians (Grade IV) (138 people); intermediate-level administrative staff (110 people); treasurer (1 person); accountants (76 people); student counselors (Grade III) (20 people); staff supporting education for people with disabilities (2 people); school health staff (77 people).

The recruitment of civil servants is conducted through a competitive selection process consisting of two rounds. Round 1 involves checking the eligibility and qualifications of applicants based on the application form and the requirements of the job position. If all requirements are met, the applicant proceeds to Round 2.

For positions requiring foreign language proficiency, if the applicant possesses one of the diplomas or certificates specified in point c, clause 1, Article 9 of Government Decree No. 115/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020, as amended and supplemented by clause 4, Article 1 of Government Decree No. 85/2023/ND-CP dated December 7, 2023, on the recruitment, use, and management of civil servants, it may be used as a substitute. If the applicant does not have a suitable foreign language diploma or certificate, the recruitment council will organize an examination to assess foreign language proficiency according to the requirements of the recruitment position.

Round 2 involves a professional skills test. The test is in written essay format; the content assesses the candidate's knowledge and professional skills as required by the job position being advertised.

Following feedback from the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province will proceed with the recruitment of civil servants in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law.
