Impressions of Ca Mau Cape tourism

Mui Ca Mau tourist area is located in Dat Mui commune, Ngoc Hien district, about 110km from the center of Ca Mau city, the southernmost part of the country. This place is surrounded by the East Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, the only coordinate in our country where you can simultaneously watch the sunrise in the East and sunset in the West. Mui Ca Mau tourist area is not only a place for relaxation and sightseeing but also a place for ecological research as a World Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO in 2009.

It is estimated that Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area currently has a total area of about 20,100 hectares and the central area for tourism development investment has an area of about 2,100 hectares. In particular, Ca Mau Cultural Tourism Park is where typical works serving sightseeing and tourism are concentrated such as GPS coordinate marker 0001, Lac Long Quan Temple, Ho Chi Minh Road marker km 2436, Ship symbol, Mui Ca Mau Point... In addition, there are also eco-tourism areas about forests and seas...

Vietnam has four extreme points marking the sacred sovereignty of the territory. If the northernmost point is Lung Cu flagpole ( Ha Giang ), the westernmost point is Apa Chai commune (Muong Nhe, Dien Bien), the easternmost point is Mui Doi (Van Ninh, Khanh Hoa), then the southernmost point is the national coordinate marker GPS0001 (Dat Mui, Ca Mau).

The ship symbol is taken from Xuan Dieu's poem "Ca Mau Cape": "My homeland is like a ship/ The bow of our boat is Ca Mau Cape".

Ho Chi Minh Road milestone - Ca Mau end point km2436 is the end point of Ho Chi Minh Road from Pac Bo - Cao Bang (starting point) to Dat Mui - Ca Mau (end point), passing through 28 provinces and cities with a length of 3,183km.

From the center of Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area, visitors need to travel 20km to reach the alluvial area.

Visitors can explore Ca Mau mangrove forest.

Besides crab and shrimp, mudskipper is one of the famous specialties of Ca Mau.
