On the morning of February 8th (the 21st day of the 12th lunar month, Year of the Snake), in Hanoi, President Luong Cuong and his wife Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, along with representatives from the Government, the National Assembly, central ministries and agencies, the city of Hanoi, and 100 exemplary overseas Vietnamese delegates, performed the incense offering ceremony at the statue of King Ly Thai To and Ngoc Son Temple.

This activity is part of the "Spring in the Homeland 2026" program, organized annually by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs , in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee.

The program contributes to spreading the message of national unity, in which the Vietnamese community abroad is an inseparable part, always accompanying the Fatherland; at the same time, it continues to clearly demonstrate the affection and responsibility of the Party and the State in caring for the Vietnamese community abroad, promoting patriotism, returning to their roots, and encouraging overseas Vietnamese to preserve the cultural identity, traditions, and language of the nation.

The program contributes to spreading confidence and inspiring a desire to contribute to the sustainable development of the country in the new era.
