Sheep hill in Suoi Nghe commune (Chau Duc district,
Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) is one of the attractive destinations for tourists during holidays and Tet.
Suoi Nghe is a fertile land with many fruit trees. Local people have planted many hectares of grass to raise sheep. Ms. Uyen, the sheep manager, said: "Eight years ago, we decided to raise 200 sheep to serve tourists with the hope that everyone would stop in Suoi Nghe. When tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities travel to the coastal city of Vung Tau, instead of going straight, they can now stop to rest, drink coconut water and visit our sheep." |

Suoi Nghe people raise horses and sheep. |

The sheep are very friendly and have an exceptionally good memory. They can find their way home every day without being led. Some of the more active sheep have been "restrained" by wearing bricks around their necks. |
During the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, many tourists visited to have fun and take pictures with the sheep. |
Some tourists commented that the sheep are very cute and hospitable. They create a friendly atmosphere between people and nature. |
The children especially loved the sheep and often fed them corn kernels. |

According to Ms. Uyen, the sheep keeper, during this holiday, this tourist attraction welcomes an average of nearly 100 groups of visitors each day. |
Each sheep has its own code. According to Ms. Uyen, the sheep are raised spontaneously by local people for tourism purposes, so the investment capital is not as much as that of companies. |
The sheep are loved and cared for by tourists from near and far. "During the COVID-19 pandemic, we struggled because we had no income but still raised 200 sheep and paid the salaries of 4 caregivers. We planned to sell the sheep, but many tourists and travel agencies called to ask us to keep the sheep for visitors to Suoi Nghe, so we kept the sheep until now" - Ms. Uyen said. |
"The sheep are really looking forward to visitors. Every morning at 5am, they run down the hill to wait for visitors," Ms. Uyen revealed. |
