HANOI Boeing C-17 Globemaster III landed at Noi Bai airport carrying many equipments to serve the visit of the US President here, afternoon of September 1.

At 3:55 p.m., Boeing C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft numbered 33126 began landing at Noi Bai Airport. This is the first cargo flight serving President Joe Biden's visit to Vietnam, scheduled for September 10-11.

The C-17 transport aircraft is no longer a stranger, having landed at Noi Bai many times during the US-North Korea Summit in February 2019.
The C-17 Globemaster III is one of the main military transport aircraft of the US Air Force, known as the "workhorse", specializing in transporting vehicles serving the US President on official trips.

The packages are carried away immediately after being loaded from the freighter.

After completing the fuel pumping, at 4:50 p.m., two Chevrolet and Ford cars were taken out from the C-17's cargo hold.

The two cars then moved towards the warehouse exit.

At 6:05 p.m., after a two-hour stop at Noi Bai airport, the C-17 took off and left.

On the same afternoon, the truck carrying the goods unloaded from C-17 arrived at the lobby of the Marriott Hotel on Do Duc Duc Street, Nam Tu Liem District.
The next logistics flights are expected to arrive at Noi Bai on September 4 and 5.
