The objective of the Naval Region 3 Command and Naval Region 4 Command in deploying the "Quang Trung Campaign" was to quickly assist people in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa provinces in rebuilding and repairing houses damaged by floods. The units proactively coordinated closely with local Party committees and authorities to survey the extent of damage to each household; at the same time, they developed plans for organizing and utilizing forces scientifically and appropriately.
With the spirit of "serving the people," to ensure the effectiveness of the "Quang Trung Campaign," the Command of Naval Region 3 and the Command of Naval Region 4 selected and established nearly 50 construction teams with more than 600 officers and soldiers skilled in construction, carpentry, mechanics, and electrical engineering. These construction teams, along with various vehicles, equipment, and machinery, quickly arrived in the affected areas to help people rebuild and repair houses damaged by the floods.
The weather in Gia Lai, Dak Lak , and Khanh Hoa provinces these days often brings sudden, prolonged heavy rains, making the transportation and stockpiling of materials for house repairs and new construction very difficult for the people. However, with a sense of responsibility, the Navy soldiers are working hard to accelerate the progress of repairing and building houses for the local people. The image of officers and soldiers in their combat uniforms, drenched in sweat, busily shoveling earth, stones, and construction materials has truly moved and impressed the local people. Despite the arduous construction work and sometimes unfavorable weather, the officers and soldiers are all very enthusiastic, striving to complete the "Quang Trung Campaign," ensuring quality and exceeding the set schedule.
As part of the "Quang Trung Campaign," the 4th Naval Region Command will coordinate with the Military Command of Khanh Hoa province and the Military Command of Dak Lak province to assist people in repairing and rebuilding 14 houses in the area.
Major Do Van Bien, a professional military officer from Brigade 162, Region 4 of the Navy, who directly participated in building houses for people in Tay Khanh Son commune, Khanh Hoa province, shared: “The weather in the South Central region this season is unpredictable, with alternating sunshine and rain. Taking advantage of favorable weather, we encourage each other to focus on construction, working early and late, or even working through lunchtime, including Saturdays and Sundays, determined to complete the houses as soon as possible and help the people stabilize their lives.”
According to Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan, Commander of the 4th Naval Region, implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" to swiftly repair and rebuild houses for the people was not only a political order, but also an expression of affection, responsibility, and the close-knit solidarity between the military and the people. Hundreds of officers and soldiers from the 4th Naval Region promptly arrived to share and help people affected by the floods to quickly stabilize their lives. Each officer and soldier participating in the "Quang Trung Campaign" embraced the motto "helping the people as if they were our own family," quickly arriving at the affected areas to promptly assist people in repairing and rebuilding their homes after the floods with the spirit of "leaving no one behind."
The Command of Naval Region 3 and the Command of Naval Region 4 are striving to complete the repair, construction, and handover of houses to families before January 31, 2026.
