Mr. Nguyen Quang Dong's 40-hectare fruit orchard is affectionately known by locals as "Hai Dong's Orange Orchard," because among the many types of trees he grows, the oranges have yielded sweet fruit and become a strong agricultural brand for the area.

Without seeing it with our own eyes, it's hard to imagine an orange grove nestled among high mountains, beneath the canopy of a centuries-old forest, creating a unique ecosystem.

The orange groves are sheltered by tall forest trees, while the ancient forests are cared for and protected by the hands of the farmers themselves.

This year's orange yield from the orchard is estimated at over 150 tons, cultivated using natural farming methods.

Cam Hai Dong ensures that it meets organic standards for market consumption.

The orange harvest season begins around this time (late January) and lasts for more than two months.

The oranges in this orchard are originally from Ben Tre . However, when grown at an altitude of over 1000 meters above sea level, they have become distinctly different.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Dong, the orchard owner, shared: "Here, the climate is mild, and the sunshine and wind seem to be concentrated in the oranges. The oranges are delicious; when squeezed, the juice is dark, thick, and very sweet. That's why for many years, we haven't been able to supply enough to the market."

Each year, Mr. Hai Dong would have his gardeners collect about 100 tons of dried leaves to mix with fermented peanut oil and use as fertilizer for his orange trees.
ndo_br_cam-9.jpg
This is an organic fertilizer that provides natural nutrients for both crops and mature trees in the garden.
ndo_br_cam-1.jpg
The garden also does not use herbicides or pesticides, so the natural vegetation ecosystem develops almost in parallel with the main crops, creating a clean, colorful space under the canopy of the primary forest.

The centuries-old trees provide shade for the garden.

Hai Dong Orange Orchard, with its unique features, has become an attractive destination for many tourists. Despite being located quite far from the city center and not marked on maps or search apps, nature lovers still brave the narrow, steep roads to explore this fascinating farm daily.

The gifts that each visitor takes home are not only delicious fresh produce and beautiful photos, but also a refreshing spirit and inspiring stories from the orchard owner.

Hai Dong organic oranges have become a brand of agricultural products of the Mang Den area, and the orange orchards now serve as a support system, providing a stable income for dozens of local ethnic minority workers.

Despite all his successes, Mr. Dong humbly said: "My most valuable asset is not the land, the garden, or the agricultural products... For me, the greatest asset is the trust of my customers and the value I create for this land."
