The two Ministers planted a souvenir tree at the border gate area, symbolizing the close and lasting relationship between the two countries.

Medical officers and soldiers of the two countries urgently deployed rescue and first aid drills for victims in field conditions.

The two countries' military medical forces, in coordination with local medical staff, must deploy the entire chain of receiving, classifying, providing first aid, treating and transporting victims, demonstrating cross-border coordination, combat readiness and disaster response.

The hypothetical scenario was set up of prolonged heavy rains accompanied by tornadoes that caused many building collapses, creating mass casualty situations.

Immediately after the drill, the two Ministers attended the inauguration ceremony of the Ben Cau Primary School Boarding Classroom, a gift from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to students in the Tay Ninh border area.

Twinning of residential clusters on both sides of the border: The two Ministers witnessed representatives of Long Cuong hamlet (Tay Ninh, Vietnam) and O Ta Mo hamlet (Svay Rieng, Cambodia) signing a twinning agreement, pledging to work together to maintain a peaceful border.

The two Ministers listened to an introduction to the fighting tradition and building of heroic units through the ages at the Traditional House of Division 5 (Military Region 7).

At the bilateral talks, the two ministers discussed directions for defense cooperation, enhancing coordination in border management and protection, preventing and combating cross-border crimes, and enhancing solidarity and friendship.
