On the morning of February 11th, the General Staff (Ministry of National Defense) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a boarding school for primary and secondary levels in Ea Rốk commune, Đắk Lắk province.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were General Secretary To Lam; members of the Politburo and Secretaries of the Central Committee: Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organization Department; Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee ; Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Department; and Pham Gia Tuc, Chief of the Central Party Office.

General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security; Central Committee members: Nguyen Duc Hai, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister; and leaders of central committees, ministries, and agencies; leaders of Dak Lak province; along with leaders of the Party Committee, government, and a large number of people from Ea Rok commune.

The project to build a boarding school for primary and secondary levels in Ea Rốk commune is being constructed on an area of ​​5.97 hectares, with a scale of 18 classrooms accommodating approximately 630 students. This includes 10 primary school classes, with an average of 35 students per class (2 classes per grade level); and 8 secondary school classes, with an average of 35 students per class (2 classes per grade level).

The project comprises 7 main components and supporting infrastructure, with a total floor area of ​​12,173 m² and building heights ranging from 1 to 3 stories. The project has a total investment of 150 billion VND, with the General Staff as the investor. Of this, enterprises under the Ministry of National Defense contributed, specifically: Viettel Military Industrial and Telecommunications Group contributed 90 billion VND; Saigon Newport Corporation contributed 35 billion VND; and Dong Bac Corporation contributed 25 billion VND.

The project's design was consulted by the Ministry of National Defense's One-Member Limited Liability Company for Design and Construction Investment. The construction unit is the General Corporation 789 of the Ministry of National Defense. Construction is scheduled for 2026-2027.

This project commemorates the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Party and is a gift from the Ministry of National Defense to the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Ea Rốk commune.
