Over the past 37 years since their commissioning, the offshore platforms have been increasingly well-built, ensuring comfortable living and working conditions for officers and soldiers, supporting fishermen in venturing out to sea, and firmly protecting sovereignty on the continental shelf.

In the vast expanse of the sea, the DK1 offshore platforms stand tall and proud, guarding the sovereignty of the southern continental shelf of our homeland. Every day, every hour, the soldiers on the offshore platforms maintain a firm grasp of the situation in the air and at sea, ensuring they are not caught off guard or surprised by any situation. From April to June each year, the DK1 platform welcomes delegations from the central government, local authorities, the people, and overseas Vietnamese who come to visit and offer encouragement. Along with essential supplies and gifts, these visits are a great source of moral support for the officers and soldiers serving on the offshore platforms.
Delegation No. 10 visits the DK1/19 Que Duong offshore platform. The soldiers stationed at the DK1 offshore platforms are on duty protecting the sovereignty of the offshore waters, always ready to fight, ensuring that each platform is a solid fortress, especially in terms of politics , spirit, and ideology.

The KN 490 vessel performed a water cannon demonstration near the DK1/19 Que Duong platform, concluding a meaningful voyage for Task Force No. 10 in 2026.
